# 660 Today's Du-votional comes from: Mr 13:10 "And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.
The disciples have inquired as to when the end will come, and this is as close to a definitive answer as the Bible gives us. It's not going to happen until the gospel has been preached to all the nations. Do you understand the importance of this statement?
Stop getting into a tizzy about earthquakes and political turmoil as if that's going to be the end, and start getting into a tizzy about spreading the gospel to all nations!
These other things are distractions that keep us from the main thing! We waste so much time, energy, and resources on trying to figure out the end, that we miss the true mission of the church! BRINGING THE GOSPEL TO THE NATIONS!
The early church grasped this, and embraced it! Read the Book of Acts and see how, no amount of hardship could keep them from their mission. Every single Apostle felt that the end could come at any minute and they risked everything to bring the message to the known world.
It's why John prayed at the end of the Book of Revelation, “Come Lord Jesus!” But there was more world than the disciples knew about, many more nations (tribes) to reach. Are there more children of Babel that need to hear the Good News? Let's make it a priority to find out!
Father, we are so close to reaching all the earth with the Gospel of Jesus. Give us the same passion that Your early church had for reaching those who have not yet heard..
