# 671 Today's Du-votional comes from: Mr 13:24-26 "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; 25 "the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 26 "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
“After that tribulation, speaks of the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Sometime AFTER THAT tribulation, the rest of this stuff is going down, and the rest of this stuff is the second coming of Jesus Christ.
This period covers all the time frame from those days until He comes again. And as we have said before, the second coming of Christ will occur after the gospel has been proclaimed to the entire world. If that hasn't already been fulfilled, it is certainly very close.
Are you ready? You better be, because that Day will not be very pretty for those who have not bowed their knee to Jesus. On the Day of His return, the sun will be darkened, and of course that will turn off the light on the moon, and the very stars in heaven will fall from the heavens! It will be lights out for everyone!
The powers in the heavens, (the demons) will be shaken, that is greatly agitated because they will know that this is it for them. Their days of freedom from the abyss have just turned into moments. It could happen at any time. Are you ready?
Father, I think we really don't understand how terror filled these moments will be for the lost. Never allow us to forget that there will be a wrath-filled Judgment Day.
