Behind Every Set Of Eyes Is A Soul That Matters To God

# 382 - Today's Living Word comes from Mr 5:30-31 "And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, "Who touched My clothes?" 31 But His disciples said to Him, "You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, 'Who touched Me?'"

This is another one of those loaded questions that God so often asks. (Gen 2:9) “Where are you Adam?” They aren't for His benefit, but ours. God knew fully well where Adam was, but Adam needed to know where he was and so Jesus asks here, “Who touched My clothes?” Jesus knew fully well who touched His clothes, but the woman, the disciples, and the crowd, and yes, we too need to know of this woman and her faith!

Why? Well, first of all listen to the disciples response to Jesus' question. “Look at the mob around you Jesus! Who knows how many people touched your robe?”

Lesson number one. Jesus cares for and loves each one of us individually. Though we may seem like we are being lost in the mob, when we come to Jesus in faith He is very much aware of who we are and He is very much aware of our faith.
Sometimes we get caught up with a mob like mentality and we forget the individual.

Followers of Christ need to be aware of this. As someone has wisely said, “Behind every set of eyes is a soul that matters to God! Think of that as you minister to others and think of that as you face your daily struggles and fears. YOU matter to God!
