DId God Actually Say?

# 332 - Today's Living Word comes from Mr 4:15 "And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.

The devices of Satan are many as he “immediately” seeks to remove the Word of God from our minds. Please remember that this Word is not just the saving power of the Gospel, but it is all that is contained in God's Word.

Oh how quickly he moves in to snatch away God's truth. He'll whisper such things as, “don't be so old fashioned,” or he'll discredit the messenger if he can, “the pastor's only in this to make a living off of gullible people,” or “why listen to a bunch of hypocrites,” or “you won't be able to have fun if you do things God's way,” or “there's no such thing as absolute truth, “ or don't listen to that pastor, he's in the minority,”

The tactics that he uses to get you and I to discount the truths found in God's word are endless. Bottom line on all his tactics is this, “Did God actually say?” (Gen 3:1)

Yes He did!

That's why this is the mother of all parables! Jesus said this about His Word: Joh 12:48 "He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.”

Don't allow the devil to snatch that word away! Never forget what is written in 2 Tim. 3:16. “All Scripture is breathed out by God,” Pray that God will bring you to repentance and faith, for only those who have been brought to true faith will believe what is written in Scripture. “The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God for they are folly to him. (1 Cor 2:!4)
