Not So Happy For the Unborn

 

Good day! I’m Duane Matz and this is Today’s Living Word:

 

Happy new year! Well, not so happy for the unborn child. On January 3^rd the FDA has made it possible for women to kill their unborn child with a trip to their corner drug store or a trot to the nearest mailbox. These pills will be available even in states that ban or severely limit abortion!

 

Since the overturning of Roe v Wade last year, the merchants of death have been frantically at work devising new ways  to protect the right of mothers to end the lives of their babies, and this latest effort was a brilliant sidestepping maneuver. Well played devil, well played…….but in the long run, is it really well played?

 

Micah 2:1 says, “Woe to those who devise iniquity, and work out evil on their beds. At morning light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.”

 

You don’t want to be on the wrong end of “woe”  as it is dealt out by God, and in Micah 2:3 He says, Behold against this family, I am devising disaster, from which you cannot remove your necks.

 

I am not saying that some sort of modern day disaster is coming to those who devise such iniquity, that would be very presumptuous on my part, but I can say that God is definitely not pleased with those who dream up ways to offend His little ones.

Jesus put it this way: Lu 17:1 Then He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!  2 "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

 And before I end this message, let me remind those of you who have participated in aborting a child. There is no sin that Jesus did not pay for on the cross, come to Him in faith and receive His forgiveness.
