The Source of All Healing and Forgiveness

# 257 Today’s Living Word comes from Mark 2:9-12 "Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise, take up your bed and walk'? "But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins" --He said to the paralytic, "I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house." Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"

“Well? What do YOU think? Which is easier? Is it easier for God to remove someone’s disease as far as east is from the west or is it easier to remove one’s sins as far as east is from the west?

With God, one is just as easy as the other. When God says, “sins be gone! They are gone! When God says, “disease be gone, it is gone! One need not question God’s ability or PREROGATIVE to do either one. Instead of questioning God’s power, perhaps we should learn to bless Him for it.

Psalm 103:2 says, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.” God has the final say in these matters, and if you need healing or forgiveness, turn to Him, for he is the source of all healing and all forgiveness.
